Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking any tour or using the services of TheTravelBazar ("Company," "we," "us"), you ("Customer," "Traveller") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

2. Booking & Confirmation

• Bookings can be made via our website contact form, WhatsApp (+91 86302 14608), phone, or email.
• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the advance payment and written confirmation from TheTravelBazar.
• The advance deposit amount will be communicated at the time of booking and is typically 30–50% of the total tour cost.
• The balance payment is due 7 days before the tour departure date.

3. Pricing Policy

• All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) per person.
• Prices are based on a minimum group size as specified in each tour package.
• TheTravelBazar reserves the right to adjust prices in case of significant changes in fuel costs, accommodation rates, or government levies.
• Prices do not include personal travel insurance, items of personal nature, or expenses not mentioned in the itinerary.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be notified in writing to info@thetravelbazar.in or via WhatsApp. Refunds are processed as follows:

• 30+ days before departure: 90% refund of total amount paid
• 15–29 days before departure: 75% refund
• 7–14 days before departure: 50% refund
• Less than 7 days before departure: No refund
• No-show: No refund

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations.

5. Changes & Alterations

• TheTravelBazar reserves the right to alter, modify, or cancel any itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances including bad weather, natural calamities, government restrictions, or safety concerns.
• In such cases, we will offer an alternative itinerary or credit for a future tour. No cash refund will be provided for force majeure events.

6. Health & Fitness

• Travellers must be in good physical health to participate in trekking tours. We recommend consulting a doctor before undertaking high-altitude treks.
• Travellers with heart conditions, severe asthma, or other serious medical conditions must disclose this information at the time of booking.
• TheTravelBazar is not liable for health issues arising during the tour due to pre-existing conditions or altitude sickness.

7. Liability & Risk

• Trekking and mountain activities carry inherent risks. By booking with TheTravelBazar, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
• TheTravelBazar and its staff shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or additional expenses arising from force majeure events, natural disasters, government actions, or circumstances beyond our control.
• We maintain all reasonable safety standards and employ certified guides.

8. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal accident. TheTravelBazar is not responsible for costs incurred due to lack of insurance.

9. Code of Conduct

• Travellers must respect local customs, traditions, and the natural environment.
• Littering, damage to flora/fauna, or disrespectful behaviour towards local communities is strictly prohibited.
• TheTravelBazar reserves the right to remove any traveller from a tour without refund for serious misconduct.

10. Photography & Privacy

By participating in our tours, you consent to TheTravelBazar photographing or filming the group for promotional purposes. Please inform us in advance if you do not wish to be photographed.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
